Animal Reserach Arts Integration with Fyrberg Grade 2

Students made animal masks that represented the animal they have been researching in class. The masks were made using cut paper sculpture techniques and had to be functional. Upon completion students wore the masks while narrating their facts. They created videos using a green screen with the video of the actual habitat playing behind the student wearing the masks.





























Arts Integration for Animal Research - Filipek Grade 2

After researching animals students made a polymer clay model which had many details. The second part of the lesson was to make a pop up cut paper habitat and in some cases predators and prey were included. 

















Lee & Guntulis Arts Integration - Volcanoes

Ms. Lee and Ms. Guntulis's fourth grade classes learned about Volcanoes through Arts Integration. Our first step was to watch videos and study images of volcanoes around the world.
