Arts Integration with Mrs. Hall's Class

Mrs.Hall's students brought in photos that documented their personal history for each year of their lives. They wrote a brief description that accompanied each photo that would be placed chronologically into their book. Our first session was very messy and fun as students created different styles of painted papers. The next session was the actual bookmaking, which included page color choices, putting everything in order, gluing images and  text then binding the books. Using mallets and awls required a lot of concentration and once the holes were made students then sewed the book pages together.
