Summit Street students learned about radial design and pattern as they created beaded snowflake ornaments. We were very selective with our bead choices to create unique patterns. We discussed the word ornament and how many might view it as something to hang on a seasonal tree, any artwork that is decorative can be an ornament and can be displayed anywhere. Once the snowflakes were completed students carefully wrapped them in colorful tissue paper to take home.
